Norman Pearlstine

Norman Pearlstine (born October 4, 1942, in Philadelphia) is an American editor, now serving as Chief Content Officer of Time Inc.

He is a renowned journalist and editor with a stellar track record. Currently the Vice Chairman of Time Inc., he has, over the past several decades, worked with leading media brands such as Bloomberg BusinessWeek, The Wall Street Journal and Forbes.

He is the author of the book Off the Record: The Press, the Government, and the War over Anonymous Sources. Among the multiple accolades he has won are the Lifetime Achievement Award by the American Society of Magazine Editors and the Loeb Lifetime Achievement Award for Distinguished Business and Financial Journalism. Pearlstine serves on the boards of the Tribeca Film Institute and the Watson Institute for International Relations and has also served as an advisor to the Carlyle Group on media and telecom businesses.
