Event description

Free and Open Source Software Conference(FrOSCon 2017)  Every year in August the computer science department of the University of Applied Sciences Bonn-Rhein-Sieg, supported by the “Linux/Unix User Group Sankt Augustin” (LUUSA) and FrOSCon e.V, organizes an exciting program with talks and workshops for visitors of all ages. The event is topped off with a fair of booths from FLOSS projects and companies. The social event, celebrated at Saturday night, offers the opportunity to exchange opinions with other visitors, speakers or volunteers.

Kids and Youth Track “FrogLabs”

In this year the kids and youth track “FrogLabs” is organized from kids for kids, meaning that theys can present their own projects and ideas in workshops.

Full participation in FrogLabs like every year requires registration through Kids FrOSCon. There will, however, be a few places for interested children to take part in the workshops only. These seats will be very limited.
